Not only are both the ram and the goat mentioned in the Tanakh as symbols of power, but Cumont has noted that different lands were assigned to the signs of the Zodiac according to astronomical geography. In this view, Persia is thought of as under the zodiacal sign of Aries, the “ram,” and Greece as sharing with Syria, the principal territory of the Seleucid monarchy, the zodiacal sign of Capricorn, the “goat.” The word Capricorn is derived from the Latin, caper, a goat and cornu, a horn.

I don’t suppose that it is a “coincidence” that the destruction of the Twin Towers happened exactly on Assad’ s 36th birthday, less two years after he became president of Syria, following a miraculous 97.2% votes during a referendum for his election, only made possible after lowering the age of eligibility from 40 to 34 years-old. It appears as though the beats is unmasked, much sooner than planned -

Isn’t that also supposed to be the birth of Yahshua? Coincedence?

Excellent question, DJ! I have read multiple articles suggesting the same thing, with solid research to back it up.

I am of the opinion, in light of the evidence I’ve seen, that it is not a coincidence at all. Frankly, I find it quite sobering.

The Messiah’s birth on 9-11?? I’ve never seen any research to show that. Most of the research and evidence show it was during the fall Feast of YHWH (in October). Please provide sources of your statement; I’d like to check it out.

Ovadyah, I don’t think I’ve seen you post here before, so if you’re new, welcome. Yom Teruah can fall anywhere from the last week of August to mid October on the Gregorian calendar, depending on whether or not the preceding year was a leap year (with an intercalated or additional month, Adar Bet a.k.a. Adar II).

According to this Jewish year calculator, Tishri 15 (the first day of Chag haSukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles) fell on September 11, 2BC. That is, calculated according to the rules that govern the modern Rabbinic Jewish calendar, established by Hillel II. There is some disagreement to the exact year and the accuracy of these calculations working back that far, especially since Israel was still in the land and still using the observed calendar rather than a calculated one; since we cannot know (from calculations) the state of the barley in Israel at that time, without reference to historical sources (if any with that level of detail exist, I don’t have them at my fingertips) we do not know exactly where the leap years fell.

Nevertheless, it is feasible that Messiah could have been born on September 11th.

I agree with the resemblance of Al Assad and Hitler. It is the first thing I noticed when I looked at his pictures… Interesting that Christ would have been born on 9/11 as well! Incredible! But I hear that he was born in the early fall… and 9/11 would be early fall.

Which part of the video did you see the circle? And at what point in the video did you see Al Assad’s wife pen a cross like symbol on the man? I saw her put a pin on his lapel which was arabic writing – and a cross was on his lapel just underneath the arabic-writing-pin she was putting on him. Unless you meant something else?

You know I was just reading this about Capricorn, and I find something pretty interesting in that. Capricorn being the goat with horns and the horn representing the Antichrist coming from that goat. I’m a sci-fi fan, and last year there was a program on syfy called Caprica. It was a prequel to Battlestar Galactica. In the story, a group known as STO (soldiers of the one) believed in one god (while all others believed in many) and did his will by plotting and carrying out terror attacks periodically. I find it fascinating that here on a horned goat planet (Caprica), a religion(islam) is birthed of one god (allah) and his will is carried out by terror (jihad). The show only lasted for one season and was cancelled because of low rating (so they claim). Anyone else who has seen the show, see the corrolation between the two, or is it just me?

Why do so many people see Anti-Christ as a “specific” man? They even go so far as to merge the turn “Son of Perdition”, “Beast” and any other reference to a man of significance in scripture. John is the one that introduces the term. He is not referring to a man, but a group of people that opposed Christ and the first Christians. There were many of these already in Johns time whereby he says that “they knew” it was the last hour. He even explains that antichrist is not a man by saying “who is antichrist” (answer) “ANYONE who declares that Jesus has not come in the flesh”. See that John defines anti-christ as an “anyone” why do you see this contrarily as an individual? Who, in John’s generation was “anti” or against, Christ? The Romans/pagens were not, even Pilate didn’t want to kill Jesus. Of course, the Christians were not. Who is left? The unbelieving Jews who chose the law instead of the grace where all that is left, and the scriptures prove that they tried to stop Christ and His message from getting out, killing Him and all the representatives of Him trying to promote him. This was the people John was warning of as the end of Jerusalem (aka Babylon”) drew to a close and the Old Covenant was put away and the(revelation of new covenant was “Revealed” to the world. Johns scriptures do not allow that anti-christ be a reference to a specific man. When used singular it is referring to the “group” of which John said in plural “there are many antichrists”. This Antichrist was a rising group in their day not a man that rises and does wonders. 1John do not give license to interpret it that way. The grammar does not allow it as well as the fact it is spoken of as both plural and singular. What do you folks say to these scriptures and the concept that John alone introduced? Regardless of who or when you would interpret an antichrist to be? Babylon was a mysterious city built on the seven hills of Jerusalem. In addition, in the city was the blood of all the saints. Jesus made clear that can only be Jerusalem because no prophet or saint was be murdered outside of Jerusalem. That why He said He was going there to be murdered. That is the only city that could have the attributes of Babylon ever, past present or future. Babylon is simply an encoded name that is needed to have a mystery. If it were literally Babylon it would not have been a mystery. Jesus told them to flee the city because God was going to punish it. Not those outside it! But the inhabitants. He did this in 70AD. I just don’t get how this can be miss interpreted if one does not twist the straightforward reading of the scriptures, change the grammar from “this generation” to “a generation NOT this generation”. That is the complete opposite of what Jesus said? I don’t see how anyone could come to these conclusions other than following a tradition rather than reading the scriptures as men interpret words normally. Anybody willing to address these? I am just curious.

I believe you are totally correct in your interpretation of the “anti-christ”, however my interest in your post stops at the moment you attempt to ridicule the Word of God, twist it to your own liking of “grace only” thinking and then continue to tell folks they can’t understand the simple Word of God. Perhaps you should continue to study the 119Ministries site until you discover the entire truth found in scripture, before you begin ridiculing those that have a more concrete knowledge of what Yeshua (Jesus)
taught to His disciples.

The Anti-Christ, as it has been revealed to me, is a body – as in a body of people – not a single person – you are very right: the definition of Anti-Christ is anyone who doesn’t believe in Christ as the Savior and/or anyone who doesn’t believe in Christ – that includes all the lukewarm people, as God hates lukewarm people – I define the Anti- Christ as such: there are only two kinds of people, on one hand, the followers of Christ, on the other hand all the Anti-Christ – there is nothing in between – it’s black or white: you are with or you’re anti!
The persecution will come from the Muslims – From what I gather, only about 20% of the Muslims live in the arabic world – the other 80% is spread throughout the world, for obvious reasons.. they will be the persecutors later on, just like they are now. They believe that anyone Christian must die. In the end times, they will be the ones forcing those left behind to choose between the mark of the beast or persecution and death. They do have a leader, however… and you already know who that is.
I will go one step further and say that, when the Bible states that no one will know when it will happen, not even the angels in Heaven, I believe that was is truly meant is “no one will know that is not watching, studying, and following” – in other words, the non-believers will not know, and only the strongest believers will know. The reason why I believe that is the fact that our God had ALWAYS warned His people in the past – He does not surprise them – Noah was warned, Sodom and Gomorrah was warned, Moses was warned, Jesus was warned… We too shall be warned – those of us who are ready, that is!

I thought about having some lamb, but…

1) I failed to get one on the 10th of the month
2) My landlord (or the neighbors) would not appreciate the thing being in the backyard/house for 4 days.
3) If I would have gotten some store bought lamb it would have broken bones and potential flaws that I would not be able to detect
4) Other issues too…

Unfortunately we are not able to fully keep this right now. I don’t see a problem with you having fish. I just had greens and ULB, and stayed in the house that night. I thought about the significance of the rest that I could not perform.

When Y’shua again drinks wine with his followers in the kingdom, then perhaps then, we will keep it fully. Perhaps near the new temple which is described in the end of Ezekiel, which Y’shua will build. Until then we must “stay in the house” (Y’shua’s congregation) until morning (the dawn of the millennium). The house that we entered through the door (Y’shua). When we enter a house through the door, we must obey the rules of the house, a thief enters in another way besides the door, and they DO NOT respect the rules of the house.

Thank you and Blessings , i think this is the only site where truth is researched studied and debated so we can go back to the bible and weigh it all up for ourselves.

Reply
Carl Smith 22-11-2011, 07:46

Just my two cents:

I feel that the 144,000 should be looked at with our Spiritual eyes. Since the Apostle John is in the Spirit when he sees these things, we should try and understand these things Spiritually.

The Jews are however only one tribe (Juda) of the twelve, so at most would count only twelve thousand, as twelve thousand was counted from every tribe (Dan is excluded).

The context suggests that the 144,000 symbolize those who are true to God and his way. This group is composed of spiritual virgins, who do not commit spiritual fornication by following false religious and philosophical teachings. Neither have they refused to repent of ungodly behavior. They are true to God’s perfect way. Those whom God has “sealed” will survive the outpouring of God’s wrath. They may suffer trials, persecution or even martyrdom, but they are saved for eternal life.

Are you asking this question from a Jehova Witness’ point of view? Just not sure how to continue…

There is only one earth, until after the Millennial reign, then the “new earth” will receive us into the “New Jerusalem”. There is no indication of a regenerated / recycled or sanitized by fire earth. But a “NEW” Earth, for the household of YHWH.

Hope this helps,
Carl

Is it possible that Al Hassad could be “the man of sin” the “king of syria” and not be the Beast? Or some other strange compilation of circumstances.

I thouroghly enjoyed this and have listened to all these teaching available here…. However I do not see how Bassar Al Hassad can fit the Number of his name being 666. Additionally I cannot see a Muslim causing the “whole world” to take the number of the beast or the mark of the beast.

Is it possible he may be the false prophet…? Or he could be the man of sin and another from europe be the other?

I am confused about the 666 number of a man…

please do a video about the 666 and the mark of the beast and how a man from syria can make us all take the mark?

The kingdom of the beast is regional, in the middle east, so I personally don’t believe the mark of the beast will be global. Another thing to consider, hasatan and his angels will give their power to the beast.

I really do appreciate your answer…. the Bismallah answer seems true without much needed further study or interpretation. It seems less sensational…. much like most of the “fulfilled” prophecy that has been happening in recent history and now. Gaza etc. Very low key and not melo-dramatic.

The verse about the mark of the beast says “all rich and poor, bond and free, etc”

**which doesnt lead me to believe its global.**

However also in revelation it states that the second beast will cause the EARTH to worship the first beast.

**this does seem to lead me to believe that it will be global… if not the mark… then the worship which will be just as bad in my opinion.**

Hypothetically, This seems to indicate Islam will cause people 2 worship….. Catholicism and its tentacles. (maybe?) That does seem to be the way of things from the tv screen and patriotism in my lifetime. This doesnt say much for the Harlot that rides the beast. The harlot seems like the “church” according to kingdom builders. Without a “terrorist” bad guy… where would she be right now? How about her moneymaking (i.e fornicatioN)

what of the healed wound of the first beast?

I do feel some peace associated with the sigma = arabic “in the name of allah” explaination. It feels like it answers questions instead of creating them.

again, I really do appreciate your answer the Bismallah answer seems true without much needed further study or interpretation.

One final thing however is that it doesnt make for a very scary “great tribulation” although I would still be afraid of the Judgements and wrath of Yehova.

Unless the entire world is affected…. unless the entire world region is broken… I do not see how “greater than the sand of the sea” or great multitudes being turned during it.

I want it to start, already. I pray my heart isn’t wrong while hoping.

I realy would like to see Scot do something with revelation in it. I mean he does a great job with stuff not as predominant about endtimes.

I would like to see how he ties the judgements and the great trib together.

My understanding thus far is that the bowls, vials, and trumpets happen in pancake theory…(much like the 911 *cough* official story is explained). Not linearly. If judgments are to start in the house of Yehova then…

If this is happening at the same time as the great tribulation…

The father will be using the bowls, vials, trumpets as well as the “axe” (i.e. antichrist) against his own house…

I honestly thought at one point that this stuff would be directed at the wicked….

With these insights is seems much less so.

Reply
Teresa C. 12-02-2012, 20:15

Honestly, this is not my gig. My understanding and grasp on this is limited. Also, I don’t believe we are yet to the time when these things will come to pass. We may be experiencing some of Jacob’s Sorrows but we are not yet into Jacob’s Troubles…

The bowls, vials and trumpets seem to be reserved for After the abomination of desolation to MY understanding. It’s during this time that the saints are told to ‘escape’. There’s a pretty comprehensive chart I use from Lion&Lamb Ministries; http://lionlamb.net/v3/images/yavoh/2008/TribulationTimeline.pdf .

I’m not saying this is it, it does however answer a lot of my questions regarding the times of tribulation.

“One final thing however is that it doesnt make for a very scary “great tribulation” although I would still be afraid of the Judgements and wrath of Yehova.”

It is for me! There will be great persecution, people will ‘fall away’, food production will be disrupted, buying and selling will be limited, some will be taken captive, others will die by the sword (now that makes sense right?!) and there will be unnatural signs in the heavens and catastrophic destruction on the earth.

To some of it, some of us will be subjected to it. It use to keep me up at nights because I was so terrorized by it all. And then it stopped. I stopped thinking about trying to save my life so that I could have it to live in Him again.

Luk 9:24 KJV
(24) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

That means my living is not ‘it’. My living for the sake of the King is ‘it’. I pray that should He call me to die that I would die in the faith and gain everlasting life…

Here’s a video Scot did with Phil Elmore and if you’re like me, you’ll have to watch it several times because it is PACKED with information;

Benjamin, I think we’ll all be subjected to what will be happening, not just the wicked..

Rev 2:10 KJV
(10) Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Rev 12:11 KJV
(11) And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

I looked and did not find any tutorial to how you got his name in the gematria calculator. It comes up to 636, not 666 when I look at ten other calculators.

Dear Scott I am a new member to the blog but I have watched your teachings and followed along in scripture with my NASB and after hearing everything you taught I am highly inclined to believe and in my spirit it all feels to right to be wrong and lol gosh I probably sound lame right now but in the news it looks like we are trying to get Bashar-al-Assad out of his office and what if we actually do? All the scriptures and descriptions all really point to this guy but if he gets taken out of his position as president in Syria then what? I am not trying to doubt and heck I have been recently redeemed and repented as a true believer because me getting saved when I was kid didn’t cut it and I grew up in church but still decided to run my own path. I am new now and that much I am certain about and everything going on is definitely adding up. I am rambling and please excuse my typing….I guess what I am saying is if he gets ousted out of Syria then what? Does his name add up to 666? or is that another false doctrine? Sigh I am filled with questions and it seems like out of everyone else out there your the only one with the right views as far as obedience and repentance goes and everything with torah and new testament. Again sorry for my typing and spread out thoughts lol.

The misconception is that everyone is on board with him…that part is behind us. Every major world leader has spent the last decade smoozing him and now we are entering into the part where the whore is about to get devoured by the beast even as she finds it uncomfortable to RIDE HIM. Every lie that folks like Rick Warren to The Pope have PREVIOUSLY put IN him (key to peace in the ME) has to be REVISITED ON THEIR HEADS when his god gets here. He is not going anywhere…his support from above will be here soon. Moreover “the world looks upon the beast and says “who can make war with him” but they can’t BECAUSE of the support from the fallen angels. He only has 3 nations with him initially, then 7 others reluctantly <——- count it, then believe it (the hard part) and CAST OUT EVERY VAIN, lying imagination \ LEFT BEHIND, New World Order scenario and stay strong. I get this question 5 times a week…THE WEST (those really pushing for his ouster) WERE NEVER EVER EVER EVER on board in the end but are INSTEAD the ones that he (with help from above) attacks.

Shalom and good to see you here.

No, the mark of the beast is NOT a pictograph seen in Greek. Revelation was not originally written in Greek but instead Hebrew. Moreover, NOWHERE in scripture are we to turn the manuscript sideways to read something translated from the original into a secondary language…only to draw a parallelism between yet a third language, namely Arabic…Bismalllah…come on dude…

Good points. What is the mark of the beast in your opinion? In any case I think it should to relate to submission to Islam somehow because we know that the last Beast-empire is Islam.

Anyone,

For us slow learners out here (I am #1), could someone answer in one word….who is the whore?

I can’t grasp it for some reason (maybe because I read the Left Behind series cover-to-cover in my former life)? LOL.

Thanks.

The Whore of Babylon? It is a city (not specifically a religion). It is Mecca. But there are many whores out there. Mystery Babylon is called “Mother of Whores.”

The term “Mother of” is an eastern expression meaning “greatest of” of “most significant”, meaning that her bloodlust, adulteries and abominations against Yah are the most severe among the nations in the eyes of Yah.

Chris White did a teaching series called “Mystery Babylon” you can view on his YouTube channel. I wouldn’t mention it if it was not an excellent study and very honest. I think, all of the major “theories” is discussed.

I’m not saying you have to accept his conclusion, the Ruach haKodesh can only lead you into all truth and open a persons understanding, but, it will bring anyone lacking in knowledge up to speed, so to speak, concerning “the whore who rides the beast” in Revelation 18. He covers all the major theories and goes through them in detail.

HE DEBATE OVER WHETHER Hafez al-Assad of Syria would ever make peace with Israel has now been settled: not in his lifetime. Assad’s death at the age of 69 on June 10, 2000, removes from the scene a stubborn enemy of the Jewish state and also a persistent foe of American policy for nearly three decades. Curiously enough, he died following yet one more attempt to construct a new line to the United States although, as always, on Assad’s own peculiar terms. He leaves his son Bashar a machine for holding power but no obvious way out of dead-ends at home and abroad.

Ascent to power

Hafez al-Assad emerged from the hothouse of Syrian politics following independence from France in 1946. Born Hafez al-Wahash to an Alawite village family in the coastal hills near Latakia in 1930, he might have lived a life of low status, as a member of a despised rural community considered religious heretics by the dominant Sunnis. But the old order was rapidly changing and Assad’s own rise to power came to symbolize that shift.

Print-friendly version
Trained as a fighter pilot and sporting a new name, al-Assad (the lion vs. Wahash, “beast”), the young cadet entered the conspiracy- and coup-ridden politics of the new state. He survived the tumultuous United Arab Republic experiment with Nasser’s Egypt (1958-62) to become a key figure in the 1966 coup that brought the Alawites to supreme power. Assad then methodically eliminated his rivals. Neither the loss of the Golan Heights to Israel in June 1967 (he was Defense Minister) nor Syria’s failed intervention into the Jordanian war with the PLO in September 1970 prevented his ascent. Two months later he became master of Damascus.
Assad preached the ideology of the Baath (Renewal) Party, advocating a secular Arab unity across the Middle East under the direction of a small vanguard, itself controlled by a supreme leader. He used Baathi ideas to justify the Alawite domination over the Sunni majority and to advance the claim to “Greater Syria,” an area encompassing Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, and parts of Turkey. Assad soon reorganized the state along totalitarian lines and he would employ terror at home and abroad. He joined Nasser’s Egypt and Baathist Iraq in seeking Soviet aid but he would never become Moscow’s supplicant. Any hand that fed him could expect to be bitten.

Triumph and betrayal

Assad was a man of few illusions. Syria could never fulfill his objectives without allies, stronger powers who might need him less than he needed them. Assad joined Anwar Sadat in the surprise attack on Israel on October 6, 1973, only to discover on the edge of military disaster that Sadat’s purpose was not his purpose. The Egyptian leader used the war to switch patrons, seeking a new alliance with Washington through the inimitable Kissinger shuttle. Assad also got his own shuttle from the Secretary of State, but declined to build upon the disengagement agreements either a solid bridge to Washington or a diplomatic route to Israel. He never forgave Sadat, preferring to stay with Moscow while constructing a united Arab front that would also constrain Egypt.

In 1977 this approach seemed to bear fruit even in Washington when newly elected President Jimmy Carter adopted the so-called comprehensive approach, a grand bargain with the major Arab states that would end the Arab-Israeli conflict. Assad liked this idea because it allowed him to control the diplomacy and to play his favorite argument that Syria was the key piece in the puzzle.

Egypt, however, would not be constrained by Assad’s conceit. Sadat and Begin broke loose from both U.S. and Syrian policy in 1978 to achieve peace, and despite Sadat’s assassination on the 6 October 1981, Egypt remained free of Assad’s brand of Arab unity thereafter. But the Syrian leader would remain adamantly opposed to Sadat’s “capitulations” and, to the despair of later U.S. and Israeli diplomats, sometimes seemed to be fighting Sadat’s ghost, as if to prove that he could make a “better” deal, regaining the losses of 1967 without Sadat’s warm gestures, visits, or talk of reconciliation with Israel.

The crisis of 1981-84

Following the Camp David Accords, Syria, Iraq, and the PLO created the so-called Rejectionist Front, opposing negotiations with Israel under U.S. auspices. In 1980, Assad also signed a treaty with the Soviet Union, when Moscow seemed at the height of its power, to provide him strategic depth.

Assad never gave up the notion of somehow controlling his weaker Arab neighbors. His influence on the King of Jordan waxed and waned, but he had more success in Lebanon. There, he fanned the flames of sectarian rivalry, while posing as the fireman, saving the Christians from the Shiites, Druze, and Arafat’s Palestinians and then reversing alliances to prevent a Christian victory.

Israel and the U.S. had reluctantly agreed to Syria’s direct military intervention in Lebanon in 1975, hoping that Assad would also constrain Arafat’s PLO from conducting raids against Israel’s northern border. He did not. Israeli Prime Minister Begin and his ambitious Defense Minister, Ariel Sharon, then sought to remake the political map of Lebanon, but Syria would not allow Israel to do so without a fight. The result was the Lebanon War of June 1982.

We have an indelible picture of Assad from that conflict. On June 9, 1982, U.S. special emissary Philip Habib was ushered into Assad’s office not long after Israel had destroyed both his air defense systems in Lebanon and forty-odd Syrian jets without a loss. In the face of this disaster, Assad was cool and collected. These were the fortunes of war, and the Syrian army had not been defeated. Tomorrow would be another day.

Assad soon proved adept at exploiting the mistakes of others. He secured a new arms supply from a badly embarrassed Moscow when the U.S. put Marines into Beirut as part of a multinational force. Assad took more direct action against his Lebanese enemies, conspiring in the assassination of Bashir Gemayel, the Christian president-elect, on September 15, 1982. Later, the U.S. embassy was blown up; then the U.S. marine barracks at the Beirut airport suffered the same fate, at the cost of 241 lives. No one doubted the Syrian hand.

Assad estimated correctly that Washington would not make war with Syria on Lebanon’s behalf. He also opposed an Israeli-Lebanon agreement negotiated under U.S. auspices and when Secretary of State George Shultz came to Damascus to argue otherwise, he was rewarded by Assad’s standard diatribe about injustices dating back to the creation. (Those were trying times for U.S. diplomats, who were often subjected to Begin’s notorious “short” course in Jewish history and then a day later, Assad’s even longer lecture on Syria’s primordial greatness.) The Syrian leader seemed to think he could bully Shultz; they would never transact any business.

By 1984, the Americans were out, the Israeli-Lebanese agreement negated, the Israelis confined to a security zone in the south where Assad could aid a guerrilla war against them, and Syria was supreme in Lebanon, a position confirmed in 1987 by the Taif Accord.

These astounding victories were bracketed by two reminders of Assad’s ruthlessness. Angered by violent resistance to his rule, Assad decided to make Hama, stronghold of Sunni resistance, an example; in 1982, his brother Rifaat razed it, killing thousands. This horrific act reinforced Assad’s message: you could be an accomplice or a rebel, and if you were a rebel, he would kill you if he could find you. In return for good behavior, Assad offered “stability” in contrast to the savage civil war that weakened Lebanon.

In late 1983, Assad suffered a severe heart attack. Rifaat, commander of his own special forces, apparently attempted a coup, but Assad recovered in time to exile Rifaat. All of this emphasized the one-man nature of his rule, and the traditional family and clan structure hiding behind the vapor of Baath rhetoric.

Hafez al-Assad’s Date of Birth is 6 October 1930.

I have a question about skirmish in Dan. chapter 11. If “…tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him…” (Dan. 11:44) has happened already then have the prophecies in the preceding verses also been fulfilled already for example in Dan. 11:41:

“He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.”

What is the chronological order in Dan. 11? Will the last things mentioned happen last or does the verses follow chronological order?

Larry (Editor) 26-04-2012, 16:03

Pekka H,

I believe “tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him…” hasn’t happened yet, but is in the process of being fulfilled. Also, it is a well known fact that Hebraic and especially prophetic literature is NOT written in chronological order, but in the order of importance.

Reply
Pekka H 27-04-2012, 02:23

Yes that sounds very Hebraic. And I think that a menorah pattern describes overall principle regarding the “order” of the prophecies very well=everything culminating from right and left sides towards the middle lamp. Not every time a “straightforward chronological order”…

And Hebraic prophecies ” overlapping” each other less or more. Right?

Genesis 8:4
New International Version (NIV)

4 and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. 5 The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.

… on the Seventeenth day=17 and Seventh Month=July

So Syrian President Dr. Bashar al-Assad was also
Sworn in on the seventeenth day of the Seventh month of 2000 to on the start of the begining of the third day as 1000 years to us is like one day with the lord
and Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei of Iran’s Birth Day is 17 July 1939. so could both these guy be Antichrist and False prophet F.P. from Iran and A.C. from Syria. Hmmm
interesting. Interesting Indeed.
