The “West” is outraged now at this crackdown by Syria, but if this were happening in the US…..where the citizens finally realize that our leaders are corrupt, we no longer have rule of law, and our system is on the verge of collapse, and that the voting system is rigged…..you would see THE EXACT SAME violence and use of force by our administration (both Republican AND Democrat) to quell that uprising.

I am in NO WAY condoning the slaughter taking place in Syria….simply pointing out the hypocrisy of ANY government that publicly asserts that it somehow would not fight to keep its hold on power over its people.
