Scot my brother!
I feel the stirring also. Something is on the near horizon. A sense of foreboding will not leave me. I live each day on the edge. Watching and waiting.
What do you think will arrive first, the Sept. 2 peace talks or “Earl” headed for the Chesapeake Bay and up the River to DC?
Is that what they are projecting?
They are showing it going directly toward Chesapeake Bay area. They are warning a wider area including the Carolinas and New York City. They are making preliminary plans for evacuation of the costal areas in that vicinity but it is too far out for them to get too excited yet. It is a huge storm. It wouldn’t take much for it to reach the Capital. The timeframe is projected to be in the area on the second of September. That is the latest report I have seen.
apparently the Washington meeting will be on wed on the 1st…
David, What part of the US are you in? We are in the pacific NW. I am watching to see how long it hovers out there. There are two more comming up behind it. We will see if it plays out like Katrina , Yes?

I just posted a video I received from a fellow Act for America Member. It’s about a Mosque in Florida that was caught raising money for Hamas. What a travesty. Makes me ANGRY. We need serious leadership in this nation. I fear that God’s response toward us will not be welcome if he show us his anger. Prayer for our nation, prayer for our leaders, prayer for our loved ones and children. We are closer today than we were yesterday.

I’d love to put you in touch with someone except I joined and then haven’t gone to any meetings lately. I’m in college and my schedule prohibits me from being there like I would prefer to be. I do however, get the email from them often.
Just out of curiosity have you ever read any of Bill Warner’s stuff CSPI Publishing, The Center for the Study of Political Islam? It is written from a purely “political” perspective rather than religious and is quite eyeopening as it is. Might be useful to wake some folks up to how Sharia works and why we need to be paying attention right here in America.

Can you give us any detail on this “Mighty Shaking” that is coming? Did you have a vision, a dream, or is it a stirring in your soul that you can’t explain. Or, is it truth from Scripture that by looking at the world condition makes it obvious that He is going to shake “not only the earth, but the heavens also.”?
Just curious. I have a spiritual stirring also but I can’t explain it.
Scot, Can we have a thread on the 7 seals ? I am thinking the first one ( white horse, bow but no arrows = peace deal ) is about to be opened on Yom Teruah.

I thought most believe that the first 1-5 seals were opened in the first century, immediately following His ascension?
Rev 5:
1) Lamb could not be found so John weeps uncontrollably b/c he was confused
2) Lamb then “arrives” as if He had just been slain
3) The “New Song” about salvation
4) The 7 Spirits are immediately sent down (Holy Spirit)(Shavuot)
It seems to me that the first 4 seals set up the Babylonian system or set the framework for it…
The fifth seal is the saints response to the Babylonian system – they want judgment – they are told to wait
The sixth seal is His arrival, the 7th seal is immediately opened…this unlocks the scroll so it can be read. The scroll announces the wrath and reign. fifth seal answered. The 7th trumpet sounds for several days…resurrection, rewards, judgment/wrath begins….
Now this is very confusing, So you are saying the seals have already been opened?
I can’t buy that. If you plot it out, It doesnt fit. The seals must be opened at the moed. The appointed times. Why else would we be instructed to keep them for all genarations? Yah would not give us this info for no reason.They point to events on this earth. What plays out here is first established in heaven, no?

Yes, I would be saying that the seals are already opened, otherwise I can not explain the context of Rev. 5 and the series of events and statements revealed.
This would be at Shavuot and would have been the appointed time. Seals 6 and 7 would be opened on trumpets on the day of His return.
Not that I can’t be wrong on this, but I have to apply what is said in Rev. 5 and apply that the things I mentioned have applicable meaning to them as it relates to those seals.
Where might you suggest the first 4-5 seals are opened? I am open to other things….

When Y’shua returns he will resurrect the faithful dead, and believers will be changed in the twinkling of an eye. This is the wheat harvest…correct?
Y’shua was the barley first fruit, and the faithful when he returns are the wheat first fruit fruits. To me that means he will return on Shavuot (the offering of the wheat first fruit). Keep in mind that there were LOUD trumpet blasts on the first Shavuot at Sinai.
The fall of the same year is the fruit harvest. That is when the “grapes” are put into the wine press of Yah’s anger.
Because in the west we harvest our wheat in the fall many are confused on this point.
Here is what I understand….Shavuot starts the wheat harvest and it ends on Trumpets, signalling the end of the grain harvest, and the grape/olive harvest continues for a little while longer….making it ready for Sukkot…barley (Yeshua), wheat (us) and wine (unbelievers crushed)
13 Celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress.
It seems it might make more sense that the wheat harvest (resurrection) is complete when the wheat harvest is to be complete, not when it begins.
Yeshua was indeed our barley harvest – starting at Passover and then ascending into Shavuot
We are now in the wheat harvest which ends on Trumpets…
I could be completely wrong on that, but I do believe that the first Shavuot in the Great Trib will have some prophetic significance specific to the “women” in the wilderness…I believe it will be one day that we are blessed, a 1335 day.
The scriptures indicate his return will be on Yom Teruah, ‘a day and hour that no man knoweth.’
I have heard that interpretation, but I am not convinced.
Mat 24:50 the master of that servant shall come on a day when he does not expect it, and at an hour he does not know,
Most are expecting him on the day of trumpets, but this scripture says he will come when they are not expecting him.
On the other hand earlier in that chapter, leading up to Mat 24:36, it does sound like we are to take note of signs in late spring and through the summer, and then he would come. I am not tied to Shavuot for his return.
The point you made about the wheat harvest only beginning at Shavuot, and continuing through the summer is a good point. Perhaps the appearance of the Lamb with the 144,000 on mount Zion is the Shavuot first fruit offering, and the wheat harvest continues through the summer, then at trumpets in the fall, Y’shua makes his appearance as the warrior.

Here is something to consider…
Mt 24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Just like the Days of Noah, the righteous knew about the coming wrath. The unrighteous ignored the warnings/signs and did not know about the wrath.
We are not like the servants in 24:50, but the servants who watch so that He does not come as a thief for us.
Also this is interesting…
Mt 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Mt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
It seems like that the day that Heaven and Earth Pass away is also on Trumpets. (“that day”) This makes sense because if He arrives on Trumpets, 1000 years later is Trumpets again. This is the “Day of the Lord” …the “last day” (Last 1000 years, the Sabbath day)

That servant is wicked and says, ‘My master is staying away a long time.’ For this reason, the master comes on a day he does not expect.
This passage is referring to the resurrection of the saints and the rapture of those of us left alive through the tribulation, both events happening together after the end of the Tribulation on the feast of Trumpets.
I’d say Sha’ul was pretty convinced that Messiah’s return would be at the Feast of Trumpets.
(The sealing of the 144,000 happens as one of the first events of the tribulation, because one of their jobs is to protect and guide the tribulation saints during the 3 1/2 year period).
There’s a few more clues, too. First, between going up to Jerusalem for Shavuot and feeding the 5000 on Yom Teruah, Yeshua and the disciples spent 2 days with the gentiles in Samaria (you know, 2 days = 2000 years = the time of the gentiles…).
Now go back to Leviticus 23. Right in the middle of the chapter, after giving the instructions for the Spring Feasts (Pesach/Passover, Bikkurim/First Fruits and Shavuot, Pentecost) we then have these words:
Then we have, immediately following, the instructions for the Fall Feasts (Yom Teruah/Trumpets, Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement and Sukkot/Tabernacles). What on earth does verse 22 have to do with the feasts (excepting the fact that the harvest follows the Bikkurim/First Fruits offering)?
This is the provision for the gentiles (you know, the one that Ruth availed herself of in Boaz’ field) right between the fulfillment of the Spring Feasts and the fulfillment of the Fall Feasts so it begins at Shavuot (Acts 2) and ends with Trumpets (the “Last Trump”) at the of the tribulation period.

If you can, take a look at the timeline we posted. We believe the seals could be opened this year. They should follow the appointed times.We are watching very closely, If the covenant with death is upheld by the AC, it should take place on or around this Yom Teruah. This is what we are waiting for to confirm our calculations.
I looked at Rev. 5,(again) And didn’t see what you saw.
The seen is that of the throne room and what is taking place is the preperation for the opening of the seals. He is found worthy and praise is bestowed on Him by all who are in the presents of the ONE.
Rev 6 then goes on to discribe the opening of the said seals.
The first is the white horse , peace or what would apear to be peace, but this is not the case, security would be a better understanding. He still has a bow but no ammo.
The second seal is the red horse. This will be the sudden end to that security. We are looking for this to be opened on Yom Kippur. Attonement.
The third seal is the black horse, He carries the scales, econimic collapes. We think this should be opened on sukkot.
Can you imagine what would happen to this world if a sun spike knocked out all electronic grids, most of us never see money anymore. everything is handled in syber space.
